The friendly owner and staff are a pleasure to work with. The mussels marinière were delicious, as were the fries. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended.

One of the best value-for-money restaurants on the seafront. The service is very good. The food too. If you don't have a reservation, it's best to arrive at the very beginning of service if you want to be seated on the veranda with a sea view. I recommend the Welsh rarebit. It's rare to find a good Welsh rarebit that isn't greasy. And the mussels and fries are simple but very good. Good 0% beer.

Thank you to Caroline for the warm welcome and excellent service. We were seated in the veranda with a sea view. We thoroughly enjoyed the potshevik, the seafood salad, and the chicken with Maroilles cheese—everything was perfect. We leave feeling completely satisfied every time we visit. I highly recommend this establishment, which truly stands out from the rest thanks to its excellent value for money. See you soon!

03/05/2026: I highly recommend that anyone wanting to have a pleasant time stop by the Jean Bart establishment. The welcome is excellent, the staff are very friendly, and so is the owner. I highly recommend it.
24/04/2026: Excellent menu with fresh, homemade dishes. The chef is very attentive to his customers. I was able to get a doggy bag for my main course. Top-notch service. A rather family-friendly atmosphere, plus a lovely terrace overlooking Place Jean Bart where you can dine. I recommend it 100/100. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! 😉
