Went here recently, the food was pretty good but our waiter really didn’t seem to like her job. That's all.

The food is very good and the service is perfect.

The food is good, and the quality of the dishes deserves to be highlighted. However, I was disappointed by the pace of the service: you really get the impression they have to finish quickly to make room for the next customers. Going to a restaurant isn't just about eating well; it's also about being able to take the time to enjoy the moment. It's a shame, because with slightly less rushed service, the experience would be much more pleasant.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery in Saint-Malo! We came as a family of six adults and one child, and we chose La Licorne mainly because of the excellent reviews, but also because the name and decor appealed to us. And we weren't disappointed at all! It's a crêperie that mainly offers savory buckwheat crepes and sweet crepes, but also a few other dishes, including mussels. We tried a little bit of everything, and it was all truly delicious. The savory buckwheat crepes were particularly well done: a wide variety of choices, combinations to suit all tastes, well-prepared ingredients, and above all, perfectly sized portions. Not too much, not too little. Everyone finished their meal without feeling hungry. The mussels, although not the establishment's main specialty, were also very good. And of course, we all indulged in a sweet crepe for dessert… and we were right to do so! They were excellent. A little tip, though: for those with smaller appetites, a savory galette followed by a sweet crêpe might be a bit much, as the portions are quite generous. But when it's this good, even the pickiest eaters will find a way to satisfy their sweet tooth. 😄 We also really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were seated outside in a very pleasant setting, with a small group of musicians playing nearby. It was really lovely and created a very pleasant, relaxed holiday vibe. Since the restaurant is located right in the city center, near the ramparts, there's bound to be a bit of noise, but it didn't stop us from chatting amongst ourselves at all. We had the chance to see the interior, including a visit to the restrooms, and the decor is magnificent. It's warm, elegant, and truly reflects the spirit of the place. Finally, a major plus regarding the prices: they are very reasonable considering the quality and location. For a restaurant in such a touristy area as Saint-Malo, the value for money pleasantly surprised us. An excellent place that we highly recommend. We had a wonderful time as a family and we will definitely return! ❤️
