Excellent stay at the Hotel La Licorne, booked through Verychic (night + dinner + breakfast + spa). A warm welcome and very pleasant staff, a spacious and well-appointed room with a view of the medieval town center, beautifully presented dishes at dinner in an elegant setting, a generous breakfast, and finally, a small swimming pool that we could enjoy even after returning the keys, for one last moment of relaxation before hitting the road again. I highly recommend it!

A very pleasant hotel, ideally located in the heart of Lyons-la-Forêt. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. We were fortunate enough to dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant La Licorne Royale, and it was simply magical! An exceptional gastronomic experience, full of finesse and emotion, from beginning to end. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore the spa and pool, but the grounds are truly magnificent and make us want to return very soon to fully enjoy them. We'll definitely be back.

Great room, great atmosphere! Basically, everything was fine. But!!! When it came time to pay, they suddenly asked me to pay €40 for my dog. And that's just not possible! Here's why: First, they should tell me the price for the dog when I arrive. Second, I don't pay for my night afterward, but before going to bed. Third, it's obviously completely outrageous that I pay €100 per night for two adults and my dog, who weighs less than five kilos, costs me €40! In short: I will never come back and I cannot recommend this place. In my opinion, it's highway robbery. Joachim Schaefer

Pleasant hotel, although a bit dated. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with a unique layout, separate sitting area, and a moderately functional bathroom.

28/12/2025: The food was wonderfully fragrant. There were two of us, and we each tasted our respective dishes; they were all excellent. It's exactly what you expect from a bistronomic restaurant: simple cuts of meat and vegetables elevated by flavorful cooking. The service was pleasant, unpretentious, and friendly, with a touch of humor. We had a very enjoyable time.

17/02/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday at the Café du Commerce in Lyons-la-Forêt and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome and service. The lunch was also excellent and very affordable. We went back in the evening for a drink, and the atmosphere was just as friendly. I highly recommend this place.
