A most pleasant welcome, a cozy atmosphere, and a lovely, well-arranged terrace.
The owners take the time to explain the menu and daily specials thoroughly. We felt very comfortable there, and the dishes and desserts were excellent and more than generous, all at a very reasonable price.

This restaurant truly lives up to its name, as everything inside makes you feel right at home. Furthermore, the entire professional team provides a very warm welcome and helpful advice. The dishes are beautifully presented and clearly prepared with care, just like the attentive staff who are dedicated to their guests throughout the entire service. In short, if you're ever passing through Valenciennes, or if you live there but have never been, this is a must-try, and I wish you a wonderful dining experience. A big thank you to La Maison; keep up the good work and don't change a thing—it's perfect.

A discovery on a small street in Valenciennes.
The welcome is exceptional, with kindness and helpfulness evident throughout. Explanations are clear and concise. They even offer wine tastings if you're unsure, which is a first for me.
The dishes are beautifully presented and enticing. The cuisine is very good, almost a 5 out of 5. You can choose two side dishes with your meal, or even more for those with a bigger appetite.
The price is reasonable considering the quality. A nice bonus is the terrace in the courtyard ;-)
We will be back.

A fantastic restaurant in Valenciennes that we just tried. The welcome was warm, the food was excellent (the Italian-style steak tartare and the foie gras were divine; the frog legs could have used a bit more garlic), and what can we say about the homemade fries...the best we've ever tasted. The eggplant compote was delicious.
The desserts were varied and of very high quality: we especially loved the ice cream!
The terrace was a real bonus.

A wonderful discovery in Valenciennes! La Maison offers high-quality, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes. The setting is truly delightful, located in a lovely neighborhood, with elegant and refined decor.
Special mention goes to Philippe for his warm welcome; he is very friendly and attentive, which greatly contributes to the restaurant's pleasant atmosphere.
