The rustic wooden atmosphere with smoking saucison and meat was cosy and homey. We ordered the 59chf set meal where each plate from starter to the main - crispy roast pork belly was so good yet juicy. I had the fish dumpling with lobster sauce that comes with a mini risotto as my main so very tasty and unique. For dessert, if you opt in, you will go to the buffet style table to fetch your dessert, fun! Will come back for other dishes. Suggest to book in advance🥘🍖🥟🍴🇫🇷

A wonderful time spent in this beautiful house in Chamonix.
The value for money is excellent. The set menu was very good. Not to mention the little extras on the table (sausage, butter, madeleine, chocolate…). The added bonus: the dessert trolley! The staff were incredibly attentive. Bravo!

As regulars and loyal patrons of La Maison Carrier for some twenty years, we were somewhat surprised to receive one of our dishes barely lukewarm. Once this was quickly rectified, however, everything else was very good.
The value for money remains excellent, and the service is always pleasant. A menu update would be welcome, but La Maison Carrier remains a reliable choice, one to which we remain loyal.

Beautiful cozy old barn setting but unfortunately the service was not attentive and welcoming. The guinea fowl was very tender and delicious but was surrounded by mini potatoes and very few vegetables unfortunately. We were mostly disappointed by the service which was impersonal, rushed and frankly not inviting.

Everything was perfect: the reception, the service, the atmosphere, and the food. The only disappointment was the wine. The red Menetou we were served did not live up to your establishment's reputation. Menetou is a transparent, subtle, and light red. The one we were served was almost as dark as a Syrah. And instead of lightness, it was a full-bodied wine. It makes no sense to choose such a winemaking style for a Menetou!
