I had a wonderful time!! The servers were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place if you want to spend a warm and relaxing time in a great setting!! AND ABOVE ALL, WE ATE VERY WELL (that's the main thing)

We had dinner last night in the outdoor area of ​​the wooden house; it was a very delicious meal in a beautiful setting with attentive service – top-notch!

Passing through Mâcon, I made a great discovery with this restaurant (special mention for the original shredded duck burger 🦆). The terrace is very pleasant and the service is excellent!

Hello While passing through Mâcon, we had the pleasure of dining as a family at the restaurant La Maison de Bois. The meal was excellent and the service impeccable.

Incredible historic house. Friendly service.

It was listed as open until 10:30 PM this Monday, but closed at 8:40 PM when I passed by.

Disappointing experience. We arrived at 7 pm and were shown a table for four, but there were six of us. We waited 15 minutes and had to ask several times before the waiter cleaned and set the extra table. The terrace wasn't even full. By the time we ordered and our drinks arrived, some people who had arrived later were already eating. The food eventually arrived, which was a plus for the wok dishes and burgers, but the tartares were bland. We ordered more drinks, which finally arrived after we had to ask again, along with the desserts, which we had to request several times, even though we had been there for two hours. The total wait was 2.5 hours for six courses with drinks and two desserts. The waiters were polite, but not all of them were efficient. Fortunately, the prices are reasonable.

Visiting Mâcon, we had dinner on the terrace in the Place aux Herbes. The food was lovely, with something for everyone, young and old, and the waiter was fantastic! Special mention to Louis who took care of us with humor and professionalism! A message for the owner: when you have a comment to make to your staff, it can be helpful, for the sake of the customers, to do so privately. This avoids damaging the positive impression we had during the evening.
