Not up to the building's historical significance. The food was decent, but a bit pricey. The service was incredibly slow. It was as if the waitresses had been taught to ignore us. We left before dessert because we couldn't wait any longer.

While passing through Mâcon, we had lunch at La Maison de Bois restaurant. We received a very warm welcome from the friendly young waiters, and the food was amazing! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity, and presentation of the dishes! Thank you for this excellent experience!

Thank you to Louis, who was with us throughout several services. It was a real pleasure to visit this iconic Macon establishment, especially with the added bonus of excellent service. Ask for Louis; you won't be disappointed!

We went for a drink in the afternoon and were well served, but we accidentally spilled a drink and had to pay for another one even though we hadn't finished it. We were disappointed with the service that afternoon. Furthermore, no one came to clean our table even though we asked, and the waitresses weren't very friendly. However, the evening service was excellent; the waiter was very kind.

For a leisurely dinner... Or just two scoops of ice cream... The white mint ice cream is amazing. The service is always impeccable. This wooden house is steeped in history. A very old lady. The herb garden is inviting. Definitely worth seeing.
