21/09/2026: Amazing 6 course tasting menu plus wines (EU103). Every dish was interesting and satisfying and left us wanting more, except there were more courses coming. The very attentive staff kept things moving at just the right pace as well, explaining the wines and the dishes with winks and looks of longing. Wish I could go back, reservations and advance planning a must since only open 4 nights for dinner and it's intimate.

04/09/2026: First experience at L’Ambroisie. A very warm welcome, the owner and waitress were very pleasant. The meal was of very high quality with fresh ingredients. Perfect value for money. I would have given it 6 stars. As residents of Vonnas, we have had the opportunity to try the former Auberge and the Château d’Epeyssoles, and your restaurant deserves as many stars as these establishments. I highly recommend it! A big thank you!!!

06/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Poisson d'Or. The setting is superb, the service was excellent, and every dish was delicious. Special mention goes to our waiter, Roméo, who was very friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal.

04/09/2026: A lovely establishment, a welcome cool shaded terrace in this heatwave, a delightful start: a fresh and beautifully presented gazpacho, a very tasty and original tomato-based starter, and for the main course, a black cod with curry, executed with mastery. For dessert, a floating island, normally served with strawberries, which I don't like at all, was replaced by a scoop of mint sorbet. Everything was delicious, the service perfect and pleasant. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back.

23/08/2026: We decided to have dinner in Mâcon on our way there, and the name of this restaurant caught our eye. We thought the motto displayed suggested a lovely place. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the warm welcome from the waiter! The dishes were all delicious, but I was particularly won over by the roasted tomato soup with its ricotta cream (and pickled red onions) and the desserts (an exquisite crème brûlée and a delicious buckwheat brownie). The other diners loved the daily special (fried bleak). We also enjoyed the amuse-bouches (lentil hummus with za'atar). The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was perfect! We will gladly return to this restaurant!

03/09/2026: This small restaurant, which has all the hallmarks of a great one, offers a truly exceptional culinary experience. First of all, the food is delicious and complemented by excellent recommendations for local wines. But what I appreciated most was the owners, who put their passion into preparing the dishes and ensure that guests have the best possible experience. It was one of the two best meals I had in all of Burgundy.

14/08/2026: A little gem in Mâcon. Simple yet refined cuisine, like home cooking but so much better. Warm service. And a wine list that will blow your mind. We'll be back!

05/09/2026: Came because we needed a coffee, ended up getting the brunch menu because or was a good offer and sounded good - we weren't disappointed! Very friendly staff too, thank you! (They have vegan different milk options (oat , almond) for anyone who needs to know.)

23/08/2026: I went there twice in a row and was never disappointed; the value for money is truly perfect. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. Having ordered takeout, I was worried the food would be cold when I got home, but not at all! After a 30-minute drive, the food was still hot and delicious.

23/08/2026: Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in this city, the dishes are simply perfect, very generous portions for the price and quality, all at very reasonable prices. If you want a hearty meal with good ingredients in a modern and welcoming atmosphere, don't hesitate and go for it; you won't find better. I also want to mention that after a 30-40 minute drive, the food was piping hot, so perfect if you also have a long drive ahead of you. And above all, how could I not mention the staff? Warm, welcoming, generous, and incredibly kind. The maximum rating is only 5 stars, but if I could, I would have given it 10. Enjoy your meal! 🧌
