What can I say except wow! We received a very warm and pleasant welcome, the kind you hardly ever find anymore, especially around here (department 86). We chose this place somewhat randomly because it was pouring rain, and we weren't disappointed at all. In fact, we came back two days later. They accept dogs, which was very important to us. The dishes are generous and of very high quality, both in terms of taste and presentation. We will definitely return if we come back to Houlgate on holiday. Keep up the good work, you really treated us! 😋

This friendly restaurant allows dogs on the terrace. The mussels are very good, as are their desserts, and the staff are really pleasant and smiling. I recommend it.

We received a very warm welcome with a smile, the dining room was beautifully decorated with vintage postcards of Houlgate, the waitstaff were fantastic, and the food was excellent (we highly recommend the seafood sauerkraut). We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! 😋😋

Restaurant Le Normand

12/06/2026: Truly wonderful French cuisine. With a menu featuring exactly the right combinations. And well-priced. The Entrecote is amazing. My wife loves fish and ordered the Gambas and oysters. Super fresh and great quality. The desserts offered just the right variety. Highly recommended. Do make a reservation for the evening. Very busy. Nice terrace right in the center.
06/06/2026: A pleasant experience, attentive staff, and delicious food. Special mention for the chef's suggested zucchini soup.

L'Arbre a Pin

19/09/2026: Lunch yesterday was very good with a seafood platter followed by fish of the day and a steak. Both were well cooked and a tasty sauce with the steak. I nice bottle of white wine and very good service. Finished with a chocolate dessert and coffee. Perfect position overlooking the sea.
19/09/2026: Excellent evening. Superb welcome, delicious meal, I highly recommend it!
