La Malva sur Pont-L'Abbe

After two underwhelming experiences at highly rated French restaurants in Amiens and Reims, we were hesitant to try another French spot, so we opted for Italian instead, thinking it was a safer choice. To our surprise, the quality here blew us away! The pizza Malva was superb, with generous toppings, and the Bolognese tagliatelle was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made in-house. This turned out to be an unexpected gem in Brittany. Highly recommend if you're craving great Italian food in the area!

The food is not bad but they serve the pasta cut. The carbonaras are French style, that is to say with cream, which is not great for a so-called Italian restaurant but more and more restaurants are doing that. The staff is very friendly and attentive which is very good. Small downside there is only one toilet so you have to wait quite a bit.

August 24, a new Malva, and it's still just as good, pizza and dessert.......I love it. Service in the fire to be monitored. August 23 Super Restaurant where it's good to come back, the pizzas were already great and there, veal gratin and lemon tiramisu, a real treat. I recommend 😃

Pizzeria which has become our reference when we think of "pizza", which is well stocked, made with a maximum of local products, and of quality. The mustache oven is worth the detour, and the pizza maker does not hesitate to keep up with the orders. I recommend this restaurant!

Back on a visit near Pont-l'Abbé we went back, the pizzas still delicious, still the same perfect pizza maker with his very friendly chef 👍. The blonde waitress is very friendly and commercial, her colleagues are a little lacking in smiling, too bad.

The best pizzeria by far, we drive 1 hour to get here Quality pizzas, impeccable service. If you come to Pont l'abbé this is the address not to be overlooked.

The pizzas are really very good, the dough is thin and the ingredients used are local and quality. The service is top notch with waitresses and waiters who are easy to communicate with and have a sense of humor!! And to top it all off, very good value for money. Victims of their success, there may indeed be a bit of a wait but you are warned from the start so don't stress and enjoy the aperitif and your evening!

Endroit sympathique et agréable. Les pâtes maison sont délicieuses et cuites à merveille. Service attentif et enjoué.

Once again our visit with our students this year was perfect. Excellent selection on the menu (a vegetarian & gluten free in our group were easily catered for). And the food was excellent.
