A pleasant surprise this Sunday at lunchtime.
The decor is very charming, with its old-fashioned inn/farmhouse feel.
The selection of local dishes is varied.
For me, it was rather light.
We had a good time; the service was efficient and the staff were friendly.
I recommend it.

Excellent experience. Great location, conveniently located halfway through our journey. The welcome and service were top-notch, and the Auvergne dish, pounti, was delicious—a new discovery and a real favorite of mine.

Being gluten and lactose intolerant, the waitress and I looked for something that would even suit me and make me happy. It was very kind of her to listen to me and give me advice. Unfortunately, that's not always the case in restaurants. Thank you.

I ordered a truffade expecting the traditional dish. Unfortunately, what I was served was more like boiled potatoes covered in melted cheese, which is closer to a gratin than a true truffade.
Furthermore, the portion served contained very few potatoes, making the dish unbalanced and not in keeping with the spirit of this specialty.
As a reminder, the true truffade recipe calls for potatoes sautéed in a pan and mixed with fresh Cantal cheese to achieve a meltingly soft and stringy texture.
Finally, the ham served alongside was cut far too thickly, which detracted from the overall dish. But thank you for the verbena.

Exceptional restaurant in the Riom Nord hotel district.
A very warm welcome with a smile, which is becoming increasingly rare...!!!
We had a wonderful meal and discovered typical Auvergne dishes.
Dogs are welcome, unlike at a similar restaurant a little further down the road.
We will definitely return on our next visit to this beautiful region.

Always excellent local specialties. The welcome was a little sparse in terms of smiles, but the young waitresses were pleasant.
The vintage decor is full of surprises.
The portions are generous.
The prices are a bit high, but the quality and quantity are there.
