La Marechalerie sur Digne-Les-Bains

A loyal customer for a year now, I've never been disappointed by La Maréchalerie. It's my favorite spot for a welcome break during my work trips to Digne. The food is excellent, the setting pleasant, and the welcome always very warm. The value for money is truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I had read many negative reviews for this restaurant, but, sorry, I loved it! The menus were reasonably priced, the portions were very generous and excellent, so much so that I couldn't even have dessert! Personally, I recommend it.

I'm a little worried because I might not be objective. The place is lovely, the food is good, and I went on a winter evening, so it was dark and cool. Compared to other establishments, it's a bit dreary, but during the day, in the sunshine, it must feel different, a bit more lively. While the overall atmosphere is important, it's not the most important thing. So, if you disregard that aspect, you'll find what you expect when going to a restaurant, including good food.

Always a warm welcome from René and his dedicated young waiter in this slightly retro setting. A variety of delicious dishes… you simply have to take your time, but that's also what we love about dining out.

A generous but unremarkable €30 menu. The dish titled "duck leg stuffed with porcini mushrooms" was actually a dull roast duck. We won't be back!

A very friendly late welcome, perfectly served homemade trotters and chocolate mousse, a well-paired Coteaux du Luberon, and a reasonable bill. All in a somewhat stiff atmosphere. In short, a friendly and reliable place for lunch.
