It's surprisingly difficult to find. This is the first place in years of searching many cities that delivered. And the owner was very friendly. Highly recommend!

05/08/2026: Found thanks to Google Maps. It was perfect: excellent, generously filled crepes, excellent cider, and ice cream too. So, if you're feeling a bit peckish, go there without hesitation ☺️😋 and the young waitress was very friendly 😍. It was so good that we went back in August 2026 👌😁

01/08/2026: Disappointing crêperie. Based on all the positive reviews, we expected a delicious meal like in Brittany, but that wasn't the case. I highly recommend a culinary internship in Brittany. The crêpes were too basic, lacking originality, and the menu accurately reflects the quality of the food: too simple! However, I did notice the friendly welcome!

Not to mention the waitress, always so smiling and welcoming 😊🙏. An address I recommend without hesitation ☀️

04/08/2026: Hello, we were there for the lavender festival. A lovely spot under the plane trees. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, as often on festival days it's just a quick and easy affair. We had a very good steak tartare served with homemade fries and a very generous Italian salad. Well done and thank you!

31/07/2026: This is already the third time I've had lunch at Café du Midi this week, and it's always a real pleasure. The daily specials are varied, generous, and particularly delicious. Today, I savored an absolutely delicious aioli, with a perfectly seasoned paste for those who appreciate bold flavors. The previous days, the dishes were just as successful, with consistent, homemade cuisine bursting with flavor. The welcome is incredibly kind, warm, and genuine. You immediately feel at ease. The atmosphere is convivial, almost familial, and the service is simply impeccable: attentive, efficient, and always with a smile. A truly wonderful place to discover and remember in Digne-les-Bains. For my part, I will return with immense pleasure! For the aioli on Fridays, remember to make a reservation. This is already the third time I've had lunch at Café du Midi this week, and every visit has been a real pleasure. The daily specials are varied, generous, and full of flavor. 16/07/2026: While walking around Paris, I accidentally came across Merveilleux. Now I feel like I’ll be coming to Paris much more often just because of this pastry. From the very first bite, it feels as if you’ve been invited to a reception with the French Queen. Incredibly light French meringue, the most delicate cream… it’s simply magical. I tried almost every flavor, but I especially recommend the Speculoos and the seasonal Lemon Merveilleux. Don’t eat this pastry on the go. Take it with you in its incredibly beautiful box, find a nearby French garden, grab a good cup of coffee, and simply give yourself time to enjoy this pastry. It’s these little moments that become the memories we keep from our travels. Sometimes, one small pastry can give you far more emotions than a long list of famous sights.

26/08/2026: After lunch, the grilled food was all frozen, and the flank steak, ordered rare, was overcooked. The service is questionable; you need to stop early because it's not very friendly. Especially considering the bill came to 90 euros for three people.

21/08/2026: We're in Digne in July and August. The food at this restaurant is always perfect, but the owner's friendliness is deplorable. Not a hello, not a thank you! His adult employee is barely polite! We continue to go there because the food is excellent and plentiful, and the prices are reasonable!

10/10/2025: What a great time with delicious and original tapas, and a good Ventoux! And a welcome that is always so welcoming 😊.

06/09/2025: Do not eat here if you are hungry. The food quality is okay, but the portions are tiny. You will need a long sit if you plan to fill your stomach, since you can't order more than two tapas per person each time. The owners also seemed more interested in each others company than with the guests. Maybe it is a good place to drink, we did not try any alcoholic beverages, but for a good dinner, I would go somewhere else. Reaction to the owners reply: we know tapas are supposed to be small, but normally they are not this tiny. In Spain, a country where they know how to make tapas, portions are significantly larger. After the first round of tapas we concluded that, with these portions, our stomachs were not going to be filled no matter how long we would spend here. So we went elsewhere for a proper meal.

05/07/2026: Wandering through the narrow streets of old Limoux, we were pleasantly surprised by what this restaurant/bar had to offer: delicious, reimagined bruschetta and excellent homemade fries! Honestly, it's original and a welcome change from the usual tapas and their monotony. The price is more than reasonable for such a treat, and the staff are always smiling. A great place not to be missed!
