It was perfect: excellent, generously filled crepes, excellent cider, and ice cream too.
So, if you're feeling a bit peckish, go there without hesitation ☺️😋 and the young waitress was very friendly 😍.
It was so good that we went back in August 2026 👌😁
01/08/2026: Disappointing crêperie. Based on all the positive reviews, we expected a delicious meal like in Brittany, but that wasn't the case. I highly recommend a culinary internship in Brittany.
The crêpes were too basic, lacking originality, and the menu accurately reflects the quality of the food: too simple!
However, I did notice the friendly welcome!

There were six of us, each ordering different dishes, and no one was disappointed.
And young man, come to Alsace; you'll see it's not cold there (in summer, of course...) and it's very beautiful.

22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly friendly, smiling, and attentive. The portions were generous and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals (pizzas, salads, and steak tartare), and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

29/07/2026: Back in Digne-les-Bains after four years, I returned to Smack with the same pleasure. The quality is still there: the pan bagnat, the Alpin, the ice cream… everything is excellent! Not to mention the waitress, always so smiling and welcoming 😊🙏.
An address I recommend without hesitation ☀️

05/09/2026: Lovely restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace. Good food, tender meat served with fries and various vegetables.
However, a major drawback: they offered a few dishes, but in the end, the waitress (at 12:10 PM) arrived to say there were only two left to choose from.
03/09/2026: A lunch stop on the road at Café du Midi. Drawn in by the location and the terrace. The goat cheese salad was deliciously seasoned and satisfying, the welcome was warm, and the restrooms were clean. It's a pleasure to have lunch in a restaurant that pays attention to every detail, which is anything but insignificant. I'll be back! 👌

The gentleman gave us a very warm welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! You can go without hesitation.
13/08/2026: I've been to many Indian restaurants and I appreciate this cuisine when it's well done, but that wasn't the case here. The owner's humor was questionable, and the dishes looked good, but unfortunately, as the saying goes, they were a disaster when it came to digestion. If you need an intestinal cleanse, go to Taj; otherwise, choose another restaurant.

26/08/2026: After lunch, the grilled food was all frozen, and the flank steak, ordered rare, was overcooked. The service is questionable; you need to stop early because it's not very friendly. Especially considering the bill came to 90 euros for three people.
21/08/2026: We're in Digne in July and August. The food at this restaurant is always perfect, but the owner's friendliness is deplorable. Not a hello, not a thank you! His adult employee is barely polite! We continue to go there because the food is excellent and plentiful, and the prices are reasonable!

29/08/2026: Stopping there means discovering a friendly place, good food and tapas, and an extraordinary terrace atmosphere.
20/08/2026: Lunch with our 2-year-old son today. The servers were lovely, smiling, and efficient. We were served very quickly and our meal was delicious. The children's menu included real chicken tenders instead of just nuggets, which made all the difference. The decor is very nice, with greenery; it has a pleasant atmosphere. We will gladly return.

05/08/2026: We ordered three pizzas at the very beginning of service. The crust was extremely thin, dry, and hidden under a thick layer of crème fraîche and onions. You can't call that a pizza! It's the first time in my life I've ever left half a pizza on my plate! Avoid this place at all costs!
