Three stars fully deserved!
We had the pleasure of dining at La Marine and we absolutely loved the experience.
Everything was original, starting with the presentation of the nine-course menu on recycled paper, which allowed us to follow our tasting throughout the evening.
We also greatly appreciated the beautiful video about Noirmoutier, which added a lovely touch to the experience.
Special mention for the lobster with caviar, which was absolutely exceptional.
A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful moment, and to the chef for this unforgettable gastronomic interlude.

We dined at the restaurant but did not stay overnight.
The inventiveness and richness of the cuisine justify the 3 stars.
The 9-course menu was ultimately very generous.
A truly wonderful culinary experience.
The wine pairing worked well.
The tableware was superb.
The only minor drawback was the service; we expect excellence in this area, and two or three details were lacking.

Alexandre Couillou is a master of preparing local fish. Through careful selection, precise aging, and minimal preparation, he creates incredibly tender fish dishes with an explosion of flavor unlike anything I've ever experienced. His restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We received a gift from our children: a meal at the La Marine restaurant. But it's not just a meal. It's a superb experience that begins the moment you ring the doorbell of a house that barely resembles a restaurant. From that moment, you're first shown a short film in a dimly lit room, and then everything unfolds seamlessly. A perfect ballet of friendly, efficient, yet unobsequitably attentive waiters and waitresses. The menu is perfect. There are plenty of discoveries to be made. Bravo!
My only regret: as a native of Lorient, I didn't dare ask Mr. Couillon how he manages to get such firm, white, perfectly cooked hake!

I used both the hotel and the restaurant.
I had high expectations for the seafood dishes, but I was slightly disappointed that there were so many fish-based dishes. The quality of the ingredients and the sauces were unique and the taste was excellent, but it felt like there was a bit of a lack of variation... (Three consecutive white fish dishes were a bit... my expectations cooled as soon as I saw them, but they were delicious, so I ended up accepting it...)
