Lovely decor, but the dishes are not plentiful and the service is quickly dispatched. Very small mussels, prawn skewers with two prawns, frozen fries with children's portions. The big disappointment is the desserts... Industrially prepared floating islands, Liège chocolate that's basically chocolate milk with a measly piece of vanilla ice cream swimming in it, all drowned in a ton of whipped cream, not homemade at all, and all this for the modest sum of ten euros, the dessert! La Marine is a lovely place, perfect by the sea, but it's a mirage. The waitress also doesn't appreciate splitting the bill and couldn't care less whether you're happy or not. In short, a shame! Don't waste your time or money here!

30/03/2026: We eat here very often when we're in Cavalaire. The owner is very approachable and communicative. Don't forget he's busy and can't chat for three hours. He's on his own and deserves it. He works hard. The food and prices are very reasonable. Criticism is easy. Those who are unhappy can move on, but don't ruin this business for the average French person. Keep it up, J M, don't change a thing.
