La Marmite sur Bourg-Saint-Maurice

It's not easy to find a truly high-quality restaurant in Arcs 1800. There are some decent ones, but the real mountain quality I'm looking for, with good, well-prepared ingredients, I found at La Marmite. No double seating here, excellent specialties, generous portions, and top quality. We tried several establishments to really appreciate the difference. Add to that a warm welcome, friendly service, beautiful decor, and fair prices, and you can't go wrong. I haven't found anything better in Arcs 1800 this week, and I should mention that I didn't try any restaurants on the slopes.

La Marmite is the kind of mountain restaurant we love: generous Savoyard dishes, homemade cuisine, and a cozy little dining room where you quickly feel at home. The service is simple and friendly, and the price is good for the resort; you leave satisfied and happy after a day of skiing.

We come to this restaurant every time. The raclette, fondue, and hot box are all very, very good!!

This restaurant offers a very authentic, cozy, and peaceful setting. We ordered a ribeye steak and salads. The meat was delicious, served with excellent little sauces. The service was impeccable. An excellent choice.

We tried the raclette (fantastic, excellent quantity and quality!) and the fondue bourguignonne: the meat was truly exceptional and in generous portions. A wide selection of sauces, but unfortunately, no bourguignonne sauce, which was a shame. Boiling oil meant the meat was seared perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The chocolate profiteroles were huge and delicious. Zoé provided incredibly professional and friendly service. Thank you again for the warm welcome and the wonderful meal.
