We came as a family during the kite festival, and all the restaurants were packed. The waiter kindly arranged our table for nine on the terrace, but we had a wonderful time. The food was simple but good, excellent value for money, and the sunny terrace was lovely. The waiters were very friendly and attentive! I highly recommend it!

Review 2026: Without hesitation, we returned to the SUN BOAT, and despite the disappointment of not seeing the chef, Lisette, who was injured after a bad fall, the team there delighted us, and the atmosphere was incredibly warm with Lauranne, her daughter, who is just as professional as her mother, and the very friendly waiter. Frankly, you can feel their desire to please the customer; that's rare.

I know this restaurant, and after our conversation with the owner, I must say that you have some nerve leaving such a review just because she refused your request: to offer you free beers, to change your order because the keg was empty, to offer free meals for the children because it was a long wait, and to fly kites and arrive at 3 pm, when many other restaurants don't even accept them anymore! And to post this review 30 minutes after leaving is just gratuitous nastiness, sir.
Know that this woman is passionate and does her utmost for her customers.
As for her staff, like in many other restaurants, they lack skills and don't accept the slightest criticism.
On the other hand, the good ones stay and grow with her; believe me, many were trained by her and are grateful.
When you say "waitresses"...lol...there's only one, and the owner, lol, who also serves, washes dishes, clears and resets tables while managing the kitchen and supervising the service!!! @
With that, best of luck and avoid this kind of nastiness; what goes around comes around, sir!
The kite craze is hard on restaurants at this time of year, we know that.
However, this restaurant has prioritized quality and homemade food!!! Well done to them.
There were, however, quite a few errors in the service for our table, and the manager took the time to apologize despite running around everywhere! One of the waitresses managed to salvage the situation, and we finally received our entire order.
However, the other waitress was completely overwhelmed and lost.
I feel compelled to point this out because I find some of the reviews harsh, especially during this time! Many restaurants are turning customers away, so please be a little more understanding of those who are going the extra mile!
And given the previous reviews, I don't think this restaurant deserves such criticism. We will definitely return, except for the kites!!! Especially on a weekend!! @ For those who weren't there, the wait was over an hour!!!

A pet-friendly restaurant, everyone loved it! Local produce and expertly prepared cuisine! We recommend the Ficelle, the Welsh rarebit, and the lemon tart! Delicious!! Switzerland and Maxou thank you!
