An exceptional restaurant, a Mont Saint-Michel institution since 1888. A must-try if you're visiting Mont Saint-Michel. The omelette is generous, original, and excellent. Well worth the detour. It's a real spectacle.

Defective shower reported. Reception in a different building, not easy in the rain as the sign wasn't lit. Very friendly staff at reception and restaurant.

An ideal place to stay if you’d like the chance to experience the Mont St Michel before the crowds arrive, staying on the island is the best way. The Hotel Mère Poulard is ideal, with friendly and helpful staff, great views and amazing food. We had a very comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable stay. There are lots of stairs, though, if you have mobility issues. But then the Mont St Michel is very steep and stairs are part of the experience I guess.

I visited in late January. Since it was a weekday, a Wednesday, I was able to get in without lining up at 1pm. I ordered only the Omelette no paysanne. It was a fluffy omelette measuring just over 20cm wide and 10cm tall, with onion, cabbage, and pork. It came with bread. The portion was large and it took a while to get, but it was delicious and I was very satisfied. The interior was stylish, and the staff were very kind as long as I greeted them properly!!

We stayed in the renovated suite in the historic building. It was comfortable, modern and spacious. It had wonderful view of the bay. Location was perfect

It's always a special treat to spend a night at Mont Saint-Michel. For the price of the rooms, a little something extra would be nice... like two Mère Poulard biscuits to go with the (organic) tea or coffee. Thank you to the Mère Poulard team and Happy New Year 2026.

22/09/2024: Обычно в ресторанах на территории раскрученных туристических локаций бывает невкусно (да и отзывы тут так себе), но в данном конкретном случае нам понравилось! Брали жаркое из телятины и тарталетку с сыром. Очень вкусно!!! И капуччино очень достойный! Тарталетка, конечно, маленькая, а вот порция жаркого - вполне нормальная, хватило на двоих перекусить. Цены по меркам Франции выше среднего, но и качество хорошее.
