A warm and welcoming establishment, perfect for a pleasant lunch or dinner. Regarding the meal, the egg cocotte starter was excellent. The main course was pike-perch fillet with winter vegetables. While the fish and vegetables were cooked beautifully, the dish lacked warmth (it was lukewarm). The French toast for dessert was dry and more like a cracker. Nevertheless, a second visit is definitely in order to try the pot-au-feu and crème brûlée, which were highly praised by my companions.

An excellent restaurant where I had lunch during the week. The service is very efficient, the setting pleasant, and above all, the food is excellent. The €18 set menu, including a starter, main course, and dessert, is truly unbeatable for food of this quality.

Chalet de Brou

12/10/2025: A wonderful experience, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
29/09/2025: A very good establishment where you can enjoy a succulent Bresse chicken. You can also enjoy other dishes just as good as the chicken, and especially relax on a lovely terrace in the summer. This establishment is very conveniently located right opposite the Brou Monastery. I highly recommend it to others.
