One of the few brasseries open during the off-season in February in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We were drawn in by the excellent selection of regional wines on the wine list. The owner (a passionate advocate for local produce) welcomed us warmly. His team, very dynamic and efficient, provided excellent service. However, the food was a huge disappointment. The cuisine was more than mediocre: the fish was half-cooked, half-raw, the vegetables overcooked and swimming in oil... The entire meal was tasteless and bland. It's a shame because the atmosphere is quite pleasant and the location is very desirable.

I had lunch here on a busy Sunday and the service was incredible. These women had smiles on their faces the entire time and were so attentive to every table, all of which were full. One even stopped to feed a stray cat outside. The food was great, but the service was exceptional. Such a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended! We stopped there by chance and we certainly don't regret our choice! The manager has excellent wine knowledge and gave us great advice on wine selection. The food was excellent, plentiful, and very good value for money.

21/11/2025: My family and I, including a 5 and 3 year old ate here for lunch. We had an excellent experience. We were promptly greeted and sat for out 1230 lunch reservation. Upon being seated we were offered some small plates and a glass of wine while making selections. Our server Charlie was exceptional. He demonstrated knowledge of the menu and also advised that the chef had prepared a seperate menu for the children. We selected the 4 course menu. Our dining experience was great, would 100% return. I was unsure what to expect taking toddlers to such a nice place but Charlie made the experience great for us and the children.
