La Musardine sur Chartres

We discovered this friendly little restaurant on the recommendation of my sister, who lives in Chartres. The first time, we took her advice and had lunch there because the prices were reasonable. We were very happy with our meal. Back in Chartres, we ate there twice more this week. The value for money is really good. Each time, we opted for the express menu at €15.90 (main course + dessert). The dishes are well-presented, visually appealing, and have little touches of flair (popcorn, seasonings, etc.). The desserts are delicious and much better than some chain or fast-food restaurants. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, the staff is attentive, and doesn't pressure you to order more. If you want, you can always find negative points, but nothing is perfect in a restaurant (unless you go to a gourmet restaurant?). Thank you and best of luck!

A good brasserie meal: a burger with excellent fries, and the daily special was Indian-style chicken. I was less impressed by the desserts. Friendly service and a typical city brasserie atmosphere.

A cozy little haven of relaxation in a peaceful setting. Excellent quality and quantity. And the waiter was very pleasant. My daughter didn't like the taste of her dessert, so he changed it for her. Thank you.
