The pastries are very good, the hot chocolate is a real treat, but it's a shame that they use wooden cutlery to eat the cakes, or even a wooden spoon for the Viennese hot chocolate. I'm used to going to tea rooms; I know them all in the Gard region and in Montpellier, and this is the first time we've been consistently served with wooden cutlery. It's unpleasant! What a shame...

I've noticed a lack of food hygiene on several occasions. The owner would put her fingers in a cup to remove dirt, blow into the cup, and then pour the hot chocolate in! And recently, she'd wipe her hands on a rather dirty cloth and throw it over the teacups on the shelf, ready to be used. Personally, I find that shocking.

23/05/2026: The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The ice cream is exceptional, a pure delight!
26/04/2026: I'm absolutely not qualified to judge the production methods, but the ice cream was nothing special. At no point did I think the rather high price was justified by the quality of the ice cream. The service was great and the staff very pleasant. The location was lovely. It's just that the taste of the ice cream wasn't anything special; it wasn't worth the 30-minute drive.
