The pastries are very good, the hot chocolate is a real treat, but it's a shame that they use wooden cutlery to eat the cakes, or even a wooden spoon for the Viennese hot chocolate. I'm used to going to tea rooms; I know them all in the Gard region and in Montpellier, and this is the first time we've been consistently served with wooden cutlery. It's unpleasant! What a shame...

I've noticed a lack of food hygiene on several occasions. The owner would put her fingers in a cup to remove dirt, blow into the cup, and then pour the hot chocolate in! And recently, she'd wipe her hands on a rather dirty cloth and throw it over the teacups on the shelf, ready to be used. Personally, I find that shocking.

Very good pastries. The pastries and bread too, by the way 😋.
The staff is very pleasant.
They held our cakes for us while we went to do other shopping in Uzes. It's true that, perhaps because of their own success, the employees sometimes have to rush things. But when you're nice to them, they're probably nicer in return 😉
I recommend it and will happily return.
