09/08/2026: The location and setting are exceptional, and the service is well-organized. Regarding the €44 set menu, the garbure (cabbage and bean soup) was good, but the rib-eye steak didn't seem to be of sufficient quality to justify the exorbitant price. Furthermore, the meat arrived at the table without us being asked how we wanted it cooked. The dessert was excellent, and the service was very good. The bill came to €205 for two; if you exclude the wine at €30 a bottle, I find this price truly excessive for a rib-eye steak menu. Despite this, I recommend the restaurant; you'll have a pleasant time. Following your response: You took the liberty of using the informal "tu" with me, which I did not do. You don't accept criticism, yet I received an email from you requesting a review (Auberge d'Antan, we would love to have your opinion...), an email to which I replied just before posting this Google review...go ahead, check it out, you'll see my name and phone number...I invite you to call me to discuss it.... That way, you'll avoid accusing people of having multiple accounts...I was indeed present on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with a reserved table at 8:30 pm.... I didn't read in the form I filled out that day that only positive reviews were requested...and that it was forbidden to post a review on Google if it didn't agree with you.... Your reaction is more than mediocre and clearly demonstrates a tendency to react impulsively without checking, which is unprofessional for the owner of a reputable inn...Perhaps an excess of pride?

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time in this charming and authentic place. The welcome was very warm, the atmosphere friendly, and the food truly delicious. The dishes were generous and flavorful, made with excellent ingredients. You can immediately feel the passion and attention to detail. The setting is lovely, with a traditional inn atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and fully enjoy the moment. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, both for the quality of the food and for the warm welcome and ambiance. We will definitely be back!
