04/10/2026: We were particularly impressed by the professionalism and kindness of the young waiter who worked that evening. While he was the only one serving, he remained calm, smiling, efficient, and attentive to the customers from beginning to end, despite a situation that could have been very unsettling. Conversely, we were shocked by Philippe's behavior. He appeared to have consumed alcohol or to be in a clearly inappropriate state. He was aggressive and particularly unpleasant towards the young waiter, even going so far as to talk about "table efficiency" in front of the customers, which was completely out of line. He also rudely dismissed two people who simply asked if the restaurant was open, aggressively telling them that it "depended on him." It is truly regrettable to see a motivated, smiling, and efficient young employee treated so dismissively in front of the customers. On the other hand, I sincerely commend this young man for his composure, professionalism, and kindness. He greatly contributed to making our experience pleasant despite the situation. 👉 If we return to K Non, it will be primarily to experience the same efficiency, smile, and kindness from this waiter. An establishment should value its young employees when they do such a good job, not belittle them in front of customers.

30/09/2026: The staff made little effort for unfamiliar guests, but we noticed they were very friendly to regulars. The fries were dark brown, soggy, and greasy. The food otherwise lacked flavor. The price was high, though. You can really get better quality food for less money in the area.

02/08/2026: Today, while eating with my parents, I went inside to ask for the restroom while the waiter took our order. The owner didn't even greet me and coldly told me there were no restrooms, so I had to go home to use the toilet. He didn't even apologize himself; it was his employee who came to apologize. So I didn't order anything and left, leaving my parents alone for a family meal. Personally, he won't be seeing me there again. Even if it's reserved for customers, even though I was a customer, there are ways to speak to them.

14/06/2026: Excellent pizza, both Baltic and Landes-style, as well as a Basque aperitif. The passionate owner will happily chat with you if you invite him over. A peaceful spot.

14/02/2026: I know this establishment very well and I've enjoyed it until the day the beef satay I was served was truly off-flavored; it smelled incredibly strong, but they served it to me anyway. After I pointed this out to the owner, who immediately reprimanded his sister in the kitchen, he returned looking embarrassed and apologizing. The problem is, he shouldn't have served me that dish. Since then, I only go there as a last resort. Apart from that incident, the food served is good! I've recently started going back, and tonight (March 3, 2022) I wasn't disappointed. I think the kitchen has made some adjustments, and as a result, I'm going back regularly. Today, January 14, 2023, we went to this establishment, and frankly, we didn't regret it. We had a wonderful meal: I had my Vietnamese salad and beef satay, and my wife had her pho with coconut pearls. The atmosphere was good, it was busy, and there were lots of takeout orders. In short, I'll be back. PLEASE NOTE: The restaurant will be closed for the entire month of February 2023 and will not reopen until March 1st, 2023. Today, February 14th, 2026, this restaurant is permanently closed due to retirement. An Indian restaurant is expected to replace it. Opening date unknown.

11/11/2025: Always a very warm welcome at Saigon City. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

26/09/2026: A truly awful experience! We had planned to have lunch somewhere else, but unfortunately, it wasn't open that day. Let's just say the intern who was supposed to be working in the dining room isn't responsible for the overall service, but he's perfectly integrated into the atmosphere and the way things are run, which are characterized by nonchalance and slowness. While the terrace was far from full and the dining room was practically empty, we were only able to order our two burgers after a good 10-minute wait, and even then, we had to call the intern over to get them. Then, after a good half hour in the "kitchen," we received the two frozen burgers, which had been put in the oven and then placed on the buns, which had had plenty of time to dry out. We weren't any more impressed by the few fries and the greens that came with our burgers. We decided against trying dessert or even coffee. We recommend avoiding this place and choosing another option for lunch in Saint Girons: whether it's a sandwich from the baker or another table, we think everything will be more successful and convincing.

22/09/2026: Disappointing food. The dish of the day, roast pork with mashed potatoes, could have been nice, but covered in a very peppery and sickening sauce, it's a no!
