We are not going to choke on the quantities or the speed of the service... We feel nice people, a waitress who gives herself but then how slow the service is. (Due to the kitchens?) -starter “beef heart tomato” I end up with a tomato soup that does not fill 4 tablespoons. Who tells me it’s beef heart? Not to specify the way of presenting. -tartar dish. Well prepared but accompaniment, a sort of potato dumpling, very insufficient. Plus half of the dish eaten without accompaniment. -reheated or defrosted bread. After 15 minutes in the basket and once cooled it was hard. Cooking is good, adding quantities is better

Discovery by the new Place Carnot on August 11, 2024. Cuisine worthy of a good Michelin-rated restaurant, very pleasant service, a rare gem considering the prices. Well done to the whole team.

We stayed at the Hotel de la Paix for the first time about 40 years ago. The room was simple but quite comfortable and the food was very good. When we visited again, the signs were pointing to renewal. The guest room was bright and friendly. The food was modern and very tasty. We were thrilled. A recommendation for a visit.

Found by chance near the main street, the restaurant was a nice surprise. The staff is attentive and caring in a completely renovated restaurant room. The dishes are prepared without excessive prices. We wish the best with this change of ownership.

We have not yet had the opportunity to taste the cuisine of this restaurant since its recent reopening. In the city center, the recently restored restaurant offers a romantic setting. The welcome is provided by the owner, a friendly and welcoming woman. In the dining room, Lola will be able to answer your questions and do everything possible to satisfy your requests. The cuisine is excellent: the snails, although small, are very well prepared and the parsley butter is not disgusting. Bresse poultry has flavor and is very well accompanied by fresh vegetables. Simple and very friendly atmosphere. A wonderful re-discovery!

We “came across” this restaurant by chance because we were passing through; what a good surprise ! great welcome by a smiling and dynamic young man, a simple but sufficient menu, very good value for money. It has just reopened, we were told, and the new owners and the service are really very good. You can go there, put them to work and have a great time!

Simple and efficient service. Simple card. Everything we love. Server takes care of each guest. New owners who want it to work. When it's done with love, it works!!! Go there !!

Superb restaurant with a reasonably priced menu and warm decor. The dishes are from the region, the wines too, the service is attentive and precise. It is an excellent discovery and a renewal for this emblematic place of Tournus.
