La Parenthèse sur Rouen

Very nice break on this rainy day at the end of summer. The welcome was warm despite a late arrival at the end of the service. This Saturday's brunch menu was complete, varied, fresh and good value for money. The atmosphere was cozy. A little extra touch: we offer you a shawl to warm you up while waiting for your coffee.

We ate Sunday brunch at this centrally-located restaurant and it was amazing! Two of the party had the vegetarian option which was delicious. The €26 brunch includes a full plate of a range of savoury dishes (scrambled egg, bacon herb grilled tomatoes to name a few). The vegetarian option included a chilled cucumber soup, cheeses, egg, tomatoes. This was followed by a delicious sweet plate of mini pancakes, yoghurt, brownie and cheesecake. Freshly orange juice accompanied the meal and there was an unlimited supply of help-yourself coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Mini breakfast pastries were also available, the service was very good. We ate outside but the interior looked really smart. This was a birthday treat and a great way to start the day before exploring beautiful Rouen. I cannot recommend this highly enough and wish we could return every Sunday!

Had Sunday brunch with the family here and an absolute delight. The set menu with a vegetarian option was delicious. Two courses, bread, coffee and croissants. Sat outside and enjoyed a lovely morning.

A slightly bistronomic experience, very cozy as a couple. Pleasant service, superb cuisine, with allergy adjustments accepted at the last moment. Meals taken on the terrace, but the interior looks very nice: chlorophytum cuttings in glass pots as decoration 👌 Great discovery

Excellent value for money 👌🏻 Head over there. (2 daily specials and a dessert in the photos) for a little more than 20 euros per person you have the right to a good main course and a dessert. I recommend the dish and dessert of the day!!
