Delighted with our stop at this address, a warm welcome, a pleasant atmosphere on the terrace with a misting system. The food was appetizing and beautifully presented. The owners are charming and dedicated. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Pleasant restaurant in the city center, serving a good variety of local dishes and wines. Foie gras and steak tartare were excellent. Quick and attentive service. Fair price for the location.

We had a wonderful lunch here while visiting Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Burger des Anges was surprisingly good. It was juicy, full of real beef flavor, and one of the best burgers I had during this trip. The Poulpe à la Provençale was also excellent. The octopus was incredibly tender, while the tentacles were nicely crispy. It paired perfectly with the rice and was full of Provençal flavors. My wife absolutely loved the Salade Provençale and finished the entire plate, which is actually quite rare for her! We also enjoyed a glass of local Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine, which matched the meal perfectly. Only one staff member spoke English, but that’s completely understandable in a small village. The restaurant seems to be family-run, and the genuine smiles and warm hospitality made us feel very welcome. Another big advantage is that they don’t close during the afternoon. After the normal lunch hours, most restaurants in the village are closed, so this is a great place if you’re looking for a late lunch. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Châteauneuf-du-Pape. 🍷

What a shame... a beautiful but devastated village. 8:30 pm, nothing planned! It's summer! A few Dutch tourists on the terrace... I just want to go back to the gîte and pick up a good book.

I agree with VR's review (since we ate together). Absolutely excellent from start to finish. We had the set menu, starter-main-dessert, and it was all about taste and quality. Even the delicious dessert was a welcome change from the usual classics like chocolate fondant. Kudos to the whole team. Plus a glass of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, of course: truly excellent. It was a pleasant surprise, because when I checked Google reviews to choose a restaurant, this one wasn't exactly among the top-rated. It just goes to show you have to take reviews with a grain of salt, and it's best to trust your own judgment and form your own opinion.

A great find! The menu was excellent. The waitresses were very friendly. I recommend it.

Food is quite good, large portions, good service. Serves local wine and they even have white wine from Chateauneuf du pape, where it's usually only red. Staff speaks english which is a relief ☺️
