I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The menu was enticing, the sommelier gave excellent recommendations, the service was top-notch, and the chef was very pleasant, coming to greet us at the end of our meal and chatting with each guest. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! See you soon!

A departure from previous experiences

Excellent! The dishes are truly delicious. A minor point about the wine: €15 for a glass of Languedoc is a bit pricey, but for that price, I think they could pour more without affecting the profit margin.

A very warm welcome that matched the quality of the dishes, which were beautifully prepared. The recommended wine was excellent and exactly as we had requested. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant; top-quality food

We had heard many good things about this restaurant, perhaps too many. Upon arrival, we were greeted rather formally, as was the rest of the waitstaff. There were very few people in the dining room, only three tables. One of our plates was chipped. The young woman who seemed to be acting as bartender/wine expert came to ask if we would like an aperitif. We asked what the restaurant offered, and the answer was "everything," without any further explanation. We opted for a flute of champagne (the only champagne on offer, and it was bad) only to discover two minutes later, when the waitress brought us the menu, that they had some nice house cocktails... so that was a bust. As for the wine selection: our bartender/wine expert clearly didn't know her wines very well, and in the end, the choice was quite disappointing. The dishes were well-cooked and very well presented. However, I ordered a dish with kumcats, and I was served apricots. I was surprised: the response was, "Oh yes, we're out of kumquats." It would have been helpful to mention that when ordering; it was the dish's unique element. Furthermore, the apricots were (very) cold; I was surprised by that. The response was, "Yes, that's how it is." Really? Generally, when a dish is hot/cold, they mention that in advance. The desserts were pleasant because they weren't too sweet, and they were also well presented. Overall: mixed. For €80 per person for a main course, a dessert, and a glass of wine, with this level of service, you can find better elsewhere.

The location is pleasant (beautiful view but noisy) and the overall experience was positive, but the value for money leaves something to be desired. Spending over €100 per person for an à la carte menu of starter, main course, dessert, and a bottle to share between three people seems excessive. The portions are a bit small, and it's a shame they didn't offer amuse-bouches or petits fours between courses to enhance the dining experience, for example.

As regulars at the restaurant across the Seine, we were looking for a change. We came for lunch; there were few people in this cozy restaurant. The cocktails were very nice and the chef's menu was delicious! We'll be back.
