A very intimate atmosphere, facing the sea, a very warm welcome and delicious and refined cuisine, but it's very difficult to choose since every dish makes you want to try it… I highly recommend it.

We passed through Dinard and discovered this restaurant by chance. But it was the highlight of our weekend. The setting was perfect, and the staff were friendly and lovely. But the food was sublime, right down to the homemade sauces—you could mop them up even when you were hungry. I highly recommend making a detour to explore the town and this incredible restaurant. The only downside is the lack of wheelchair access due to the restaurant's layout.

I was very surprised by the Google rating. I went there hoping for a delicious meal, but that wasn't the case. The scallops were fresh, but poorly cooked; there was no sauce, making them rather bland, and they were served with a small casserole of garlicky vegetables... I really expected better, so I was disappointed. The waiter was kind and pleasant, but I can cook at that level at home. If I go back to Dinard, I won't be going to this restaurant.

20/05/2026: Vibrant local bar with a big heart. Breakfast and lunch are served and we couldn't fault our midday meal today. We had a warm welcome, good service and well cooked food at great value. What's not to like?

A l'Abri des Flots

17/05/2026: You don't need to be a fish or seafood lover to enjoy a meal at L'Abri des Flots, because even though the restaurant specializes in it, you'll still find a fine selection of meats. However, the fish dishes, mostly local, are prepared with meticulous care, and the fresh seafood is prepared right in front of you (if you're seated on the terrace!). The desserts are also worth trying, so save some room! Reservations are recommended.
16/05/2026: After spending 10 days in Dinard eating lunch and dinner at restaurants, this one is clearly among the best. We even went back before we left. Excellent food and a very warm welcome, including for our small dog in a stroller, who can no longer walk very well; he was welcomed with great kindness.
