Super friendly welcome, great hot chocolate and a waffle after the hike, we highly recommend it!

Lunch for 4 adults with a reservation made the day before. We were able to eat on the terrace and tried the set menu. For €20, the three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) was very good and, above all, generous, with a special mention for the homemade blueberry tart. Kudos to the kitchen team and a very special thank you to JB, the waiter, for his warm welcome and professionalism.

The waiter was very friendly but completely overwhelmed as he was working alone. So we waited 20 minutes to be seated. We had two Desperados sandwiches, then a starter of terrine and ham and melon. The main course was spit-roasted pork with homemade fries. Dessert was blueberry tart. This was all part of the daily special, which was presented to us verbally without the price being mentioned (the poor waiter, who was running around everywhere, probably wanted to save time). Everything was good, but €30 per person for that seemed excessive. We still had a good time, though.

A traditional, unpretentious restaurant where you can enjoy well-prepared dishes, like the excellent sweetbreads with morels, and the lamb chops cooked perfectly rare, just as requested! Homemade fries were also available, and my partner opted for grilled cuttlefish with white rice and ratatouille. I recommend the very good rosé by the carafe, particularly fruity and very reasonably priced. In short, if you overlook the slightly disorganized service, which is quickly forgotten thanks to the staff's friendliness, it's a great place for lunch after a walk around Lake Payole, especially on a Sunday. In any case, if we return, we won't hesitate to come back for lunch; it was a lovely experience.

After a stroll around the lake and surrounding area, we had lunch at Chez Ludo restaurant, La Passeyade. Excellent value for money. The €18 set menu was exceptional—generous portions, homemade food, and top-notch service. We had the choice of dining outside, but we opted to sit inside. The entire team was attentive. Thank you!

A good restaurant located between La Mongie and the Col d'Aspin, with a set menu offering traditional cuisine at a very reasonable price. The owner gives good recommendations, and we ate on the terrace with a superb, peaceful view. We would gladly return.

The food was decent, but a sauce with the duck breasts would have been nice... The waiter was pleasant.
