La Passeyade sur Campan

After a stroll around the lake and surrounding area, we had lunch at Chez Ludo restaurant, La Passeyade. Excellent value for money. The €18 set menu was exceptional—generous portions, homemade food, and top-notch service. We had the choice of dining outside, but we opted to sit inside. The entire team was attentive. Thank you!

A good restaurant located between La Mongie and the Col d'Aspin, with a set menu offering traditional cuisine at a very reasonable price. The owner gives good recommendations, and we ate on the terrace with a superb, peaceful view. We would gladly return.

The food was decent, but a sauce with the duck breasts would have been nice... The waiter was pleasant.

A warm welcome, the lamb chops were perfectly cooked, pink, just as we had requested. The bill was very reasonable, despite the chops being a bit extra: €58 for two set menus, starter, main course, dessert, with two drinks and two coffees. We were served quickly, but we were the first ones there. Pleasantly surprised for a restaurant located in a very touristy area.

Very well located with a lovely terrace, we enjoyed the set menu this Sunday, which was perfect for me as a vegetarian, paired with a very good wine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you'll receive a very warm welcome whether you're ordering a set menu or just a crêpe! Thank you to Ludo and Mathilde for their hospitality!
