La Pause du Viandante sur Paris

Had an amazing dinner here!! Quality was top notch, everything was very special for a date night! Even made us a simple side of veg and greens which tasted so good! Oysters and the monkfish was amazing! So food is 5* However compared to similar restaurants, the price is on the expensive size given the portion sizes etc and you can find similar food for cheaper. I think a dish for €35 which was very very small is a bit criminal BUT it still tasted great, I just expected more!

Fantastic dinner at Dante's! The manager is lovely; we had a great chat with her, and her passion for her work really shines through in the food. The amberjack with figs was delicious, the sole meunière to share was perfect, and the vanilla dessert was absolutely divine. I highly recommend it; we'll definitely be back!

Ordered the stuffed pigeon and the entire table set is asking to host a funeral for the bird. Jk, the seasonal menu here is worth trying

As in lots of other hyped places, i can't really fully enjoy the meal once the bill lands on the table. Dishes were nearly all solid, well presented (special mention to that duck in molle sauce). Though an anomaly appeared during the starters: this fish sashimi with fig slices and cucumber marinade: simply insipid: it was neither salty, nor citrusy, or even well rounded with spices. Cucumber water is for hipster coffees, not for a 20€ + ceviche with 3 small slices of fish in it. Not sure if a taste test was done before service, but if it was, then quality control ain't there. Dante is a place that is enjoyable when inside, but that you will instantly forget once out. I am myself unsure what elements make a restaurant great, but that leap between good and greatness is still well beyond reach at Dante.

Wonderful flavors. The oysters granita and the sweetbreads were the stars for me. Wish the fresh fish had been available, but it is a heat wave have to adapt.

Modern French cooking utilizing local, seasonal produce. The dishes here are prepared without over interfering the main ingredients, what is complicated here are the sauces and oils which complement and enhance the eating experience. The food here was all very tasty but mostly exciting due to the unusual flavours found in all of the sauce/oil inclusions. I do have to say, the highlight of the entire meal was the dessert, so fresh, light and delicious. I would say I think the cake in the centre could be something lighter or even a meringue to truly encapsulate how delicate the dish is. Service was wonderful and thoughtful. The fit out is an artistic modern design that works well with the playful food. I am very happy I made it here.
