La Pause Gourmande sur Balaruc-Les-Bains

A family-run restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, but where the welcome is incredibly warm. The portions are generous, the flank steak was excellent (I arrived too late for the paella, which looked very appetizing and plentiful). From the mother at the counter and with dessert, to the father in the kitchen, and the sons serving, everyone is incredibly attentive. I'll definitely be back for next year. We ate there several times during our treatment. Each time we ordered the daily special. The portions were generous and delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. It's best to make a reservation.

We ate there for lunch with our children, it was very good and the staff were lovely.

Perfect, good food, kindness of the whole team, fabulous desserts, especially the floating island, highly recommended, I will come back with pleasure.

Stumbled upon this place by chance with my husband and 3.5-year-old son, and my son and I were able to eat without a reservation, despite the crowds! (My husband didn't eat, but that's his fault, haha) The owner and the server who served us were very attentive. If you want to eat the daily special (which looked very good that day), remember to book in advance!

An excellent restaurant with inventive, homemade cuisine, the gratins are excellent as are the sauces, the service and welcome are very friendly and efficient, well done to the team
