La Peche a la Truite sur La Salle-Les-Alpes

A pleasant spot surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent trout and grilled potatoes you'll never forget. If you opt for the meat menu, you won't be disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. In short, a place you'll love and want to return to.

We have mixed feelings... The place is idyllic, everything is shaded, the concept is brilliant, you eat the trout you caught with several menus to choose from, the first is €17.50, the second is €22, and so on. Now, it's long, very, very long. The service isn't good, it's all over the place, there's clearly a shortage of staff. The worst, I think, is the lack of communication between employees who contradict each other and the disruptions. We ate without bread because there was no more bread, then as for desserts, there's a whole bunch on the menu, and every 5 minutes we heard, there's no more of this, no more of that, in the end, there's only ice cream left (€5 a scoop). This won't stop us from coming back, however, we hope that by then, the staff and supplies will be up to scratch.

Great experience. The waitresses are incredibly kind and the meal (fresh trout, grilled potato, melted butter and lemon) is simple and so tasty and generous! Oh yes, and the ice cream for dessert was super good!!! A perfect location. I loved it. Plus, everything is in the shade. Really great! Thank you!

Fantastic setting and excellent menu, incredibly fresh trout and roasted potatoes. The chocolate mousse is perfect!
