La Pente a Jules sur Magland

Great place to finish the day listening to live music and drinking local beers and wines. Sufficient space for a table or a deck chair to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Queue was slightly long for the bar but it is to be expected with a popular place like this, which there are not many of in Flaine.

For a touristy spot right on the ski slopes, the food is consistently excellent and beautifully presented. The welcome is very warm. It's our favorite restaurant in the Grand Massif.

Superb terrace with refined cuisine and attentive staff! We particularly recommend the Thai tartare with sweet potato fries and the yuzu meringue cheesecake! Well done to the team! P.S.: Booking in advance is highly recommended 😉

Great on the slopes with good music and good food. I recommend it.

The salad was very generous and the egg was perfectly cooked. The burger was excellent; everything is made with quality ingredients. The Savoie white wine and beer were also very good. The gourmet coffee was a lovely touch, shared by two. We deliberately chose the restaurant side, so the prices reflect that, but there's also a very nice snack bar next door. The waitresses were truly kind and attentive. Straw hats were mandatory and provided for the sun – a thoughtful touch, thank you. A great time!

We had lunch on the terrace and had a wonderful time! It's lovely to enjoy such carefully prepared dishes in a mountain restaurant. The service was very pleasant. The price is what it is, but the quality is definitely there!

The owner's welcome was fantastic!!! The service was simply magnificent and the lunch exceptional!!! So many compliments, and truly deserved!!! I've already made a reservation for another lunch!!!

Best food of our holiday with a good selection. Had a very tasty chicken curry and a divine chocolate pudding. Busy but friendly staff who managed to squeeze us in on a lovely sunny Friday lunchtime!
