Le Desert Blanc sur Magland

One of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps, the restaurant/snacks are nice! Quite a few choices (hamburger, hot dog, sandwich, croque monsieur, etc.) I advise you to stop there for a snack, the pancakes are excellent!

Restaurant or snack, it’s your choice. Except when there are a lot of people (like 02/29 🤯) and then it's impossible to have lunch in this restaurant at an altitude of 2500 m with a magnificent view of Mont-Blanc. As for the restaurant, the pizzas are worth it, but the other dishes aren't bad either. At the snack bar, omelette, panini, hot dog and croque-monsieur are very correct and well presented. We ate there three times a week, never disappointed!

Coffee with a view at a good price!

The longer wait in line for food is amply rewarded. Delicious dishes, the pizzas are freshly prepared, the staff is very friendly. Had lunch twice, easily found a table for 9 people twice.

Agréablement surpris par une carte plutôt fournie, notre omelette alpine,frites,salade était objectivement de bon niveau.En laissant trainer yeux et oreilles,les mets visuellement apétissants,semblaient amener le contentement des clients. La note n’est pas bénigne mais quand c’est bon,on passe. Reste le cadre,sans aucun charme,et peut être que de déblayer la neige sur les vitres aurait été bienvenu,vu le spectacle proposé à l’extérieur. Y retournerions nous? Oui sans hésitation.

Service très agréable, malheureusement le croque-monsieur n’était vraiment pas dans sa meilleure forme (tout mou, sans goût). C’est vraiment dommage.

There are way too many options on the menu - because of this it takes ages to prepare food and the queue is super slow. Bless the cooks working as fast as they can to cater for the menu - they did a brilliant job but the menu is too long ... Restaurant is also quite small space-wise especially as it is too cold to eat outside in minus 9c.

Perfekter Ort mit grandioser Rundsicht und Mont Blanc.

Het restaurant in kwestie biedt een aangename culinaire ervaring, zij het zonder al te veel opwinding. De gerechten zijn smakelijk, met een degelijke presentatie en een menu dat enkele klassiekers en vertrouwde smaken omvat. Hoewel het eten niet per se opvallend origineel is, voldoet het zeker aan de verwachtingen van een smakelijke maaltijd. Een opmerkelijk aspect is echter de prijsstelling, die aan de hoge kant lijkt te liggen in verhouding tot de geboden ervaring. De kwaliteit van het eten rechtvaardigt de kosten niet volledig, waardoor de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding niet geheel in balans is. Het decor en de service dragen bij aan een comfortabele sfeer, maar het lijkt erop dat de prijzen meer gebaseerd zijn op ambiance dan op de culinaire uniciteit.
