La Perla - Restaurant Italien sur Paris

I'll start by saying I was a bit biased, being Italian. We had arancini as an appetizer: they were quite good, even if they weren't the real arancini like the Italian ones. Then we had two pizzas: one with pesto and burrata and the other a Regina, but with the cooked ham removed and the prosciutto added. It's a shame that, despite simply substituting one ingredient for another, they still charged us 2 euros more, even though there were only two slices of prosciutto on the pizza. Overall, however, the pizzas were good, even if they weren't comparable to Italian ones. The only real negative, which leads me to give it only 3 stars instead of 4, was the service. One waiter in particular was very annoyed when serving us, as if our presence bothered him. When taking our orders or delivering our dishes, he never looked us in the eye and was quite rude. A shame, because with friendlier service, the experience would have been much better.

This restaurant is excellent! The pizzas are delicious and the prices are reasonable. We just felt like we were bothering some of the servers by asking for water or bread, but it was probably a tiring day for them. I still recommend this place.
