La Petite Alsace sur Strasbourg

We spontaneously decided to travel to Strasbourg for two days and booked an executive room at the Hotel Pavillon Règent Petit France. Our dog was also very welcome! Our room was very nice (soundproof) and modernly furnished. A big thank you also to housekeeping! A great hotel with valet parking! The whole hotel team is so friendly and helpful, you just have to feel comfortable! We had dinner on the terrace in the evening! So delicious, even the greeting from the kitchen was the best thing ever! For the starter we chose vitello and squid and then the veal fillet! A dream! Accompanied by a bottle of Alexe - Corton how pleasant! Fine friandise was then served with the espresso. Next door is the bartender who serves the best cocktails! What more could you want! Unfortunately, there is still a small drawback! You run out of bread very quickly at breakfast! You have to wait longer for it! Such a shame!! Everything was so great and then....as the saying goes, the last impression a guest takes away from the hotel is the breakfast...afterwards he leaves! But the congierge made it up to us when he brought our car and provided us with bottles of water (also for the dog) for the journey home! Many thanks to the entire Pavillon Règent team! We felt very welcome and comfortable!!

PERFECT: the welcome was extremely kind (especially thanks to Fatya), the rooms comfortable and clean, the well-equipped spa, the ideal location, the magnificent view and the succulent and varied breakfast. A very successful surprise, a big thank you!

Location and service are excellent.

We stayed with my mother in this superb establishment, on all levels, both in terms of the location and the service and friendliness of the staff! You absolutely have to stay at this place at least once! As for us, we will come back with great pleasure. Thanks again to all the team, especially Elias who was kind enough to give us a short list of nice restaurants in Strasbourg.

Excellent location for a stop over in the heart of cultural Strasbourg Petite France tourist area. Valet parking a must

I will begin with sharing that we had a miserable experience at check in. We arrived early at the hotel having just come off a river cruise from Amsterdam. I approached the lady at the desk and immediately said that I was aware that they wouldn't have any rooms available yet, but that I would like to arrange to check in to one of our rooms as soon as it was available. Apparently their system was down at the time. This was her excuse for being incredibly rude towards us. First of all, it is not my problem if your hotel has a system issue, and it is no excuse to be rude. She refused to discuss an early check in and continually repeated that they guarantee their rooms at 4pm. Mind you this was around 10am and our reason for wanting to get into the room is my mothers health. But the lady at the desk refused to discuss this. She just wanted to state that their system was down and that she would guarantee a 4pm check in. Not a very 5 star attitude. She did begrudgingly agree to call us if one of our rooms became available. When I call her back over 4 hours later, her attitude hadn't changed, nor had her response about our check in time. Interestingly, when we went back to the hotel at 3pm to wait for our rooms, they were both available and yet we had not received a call. Again, not 5 star. In fact we have stayed at Motel 6 and gotten better treatment. I should also add that this was a Monday. When I checked out of one of my rooms on Thursday there was literally a couple next to me checking in at 11am. When we checked out at 1pm there were guests checking in as well. Seems odd that it was such a big deal to her when we asked about checking in, but she didn't have a problem checking in other guests later in the week. It is because of her and only because of her that we rate this hotel a 3 star. She should have had a back up system in place for checking guests in and out when the systems fails, and she should not treat guests so rudely. Aside from the lady we had the misfortune of dealing with at check in, the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The guys that helped with our luggage were great, the other two ladies I dealt with were always friendly and helpful too. The hotel is in the perfect location for spending a few days in Strasbourg, and the rooms exceeded our expectations, considering the age of the building they had modernized the inside well and yet kept a lot of the charm of the old buildings. Unfortunately, being treated the way we were when we arrived, then not receiving a call when our rooms were ready, and then watching others check in early is a terrible way to be treated. 5 stars begins with your staff and it only takes one member acting as she did to ruin a guests impression of your establishment. And although the other staff members apologized for the way she treated us, she never took any opportunity to do so herself. Had she made even that small effort we would add a star. In summary, avoid the tall lady with red hair at check in and you have a shot at a 5 star stay. If not, your stay will be soured by foul treatment from a person who is seemingly in the wrong industry.

Great location with a nice or particularly nice view depending on the room. Small terrace overlooking the water. A good choice for a well-kept stay in Strasbourg.

Gezellig sfeervol terras trok ons gelijk aan! Er was niemand op het terras maar we zijn toch gaan zitten! Gastvrije mensen stonden ons gelijk te woord. We bestelden tournedos Rossini precies mooi rood van binnen top ! Aanraden deze toko ! 👌

En plein coeur de la Petite France à Strasbourg, nous y avons déjeuné par hasard. Ambiance bucolique un dimanche midi. Attention: le filet de boeuf est une dinguerie ! Un des meilleurs de tout Strasbourg. Pour 27€ foncez.
