We went to La P’tite Ardoise on a recommendation. Well, this is definitely a must-visit in Fontainebleau! A warm welcome. Friendly and attentive staff. Refined and excellent cuisine in a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. Very good value for money. Bravo!!

We had a meal for 43 euros: a starter of puff pastry with snails and scallops, a main course of hash brown with eggplant, beef, mozzarella, and kidneys, and a dessert of pear and French toast. Everything is homemade. A real treat, as was the wine. You can go there without hesitation.

A big disappointment with the fish course: cod was served, even though the menu listed sea bass. The restaurant's strong point: the staff/smooth service. An experience worth having once. I expected a higher standard than some non-Michelin-starred restaurants.
