La Petite Auberge sur Saint-Bonnet-Les-Oules

We visited here one Friday evening without booking as were staying nearby (on route heading to southern France). We walked by late afternoon and it looked closed. We told the hotel owner we didn’t know where to go for dinner and she said Auberge de Flo would be open and it was relaxed and very good. We returned about 8pm and it was open ! We had the best meal at Flo’s during our time in France. The proprietor (presumably Flo) was lovely. I tried their potato cakes which were delicious. One of the other diners (we learned it family of Flo) came to help us throughout our meal with translations into English. We were made very welcome as were our children. We sat outside and then went afterward to look at the sunset over the valley. A memorable moment and fantastic food and hosts.

It all starts with "Shall we eat tonight?" followed by "What are you in the mood for?" Hmm, frogs' legs! So we're online and boom, Flo's little inn... we call, a very warm person answers the phone... and then a wonderful discovery: frogs' legs, potato pancakes, buckwheat pancakes... what can I say, absolutely amazing! Quality ingredients, generous portions, and incredible flavors... so don't hesitate any longer!

A beautiful, authentic, and family-run place with excellent, high-quality, and very generous cuisine. The service is perfect. From the moment you arrive, you feel the warm atmosphere, which makes for a very pleasant experience.

Everything was perfect: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The potato pancakes are to die for! 😍 This was our second visit, and we'll definitely be back!

Magnificent... you couldn't ask for more for a great meal. The meat is top quality, the potato pancakes are excellent, the fries are homemade... and the owners are super friendly. This is what you call a good, unpretentious French inn where you can eat well for a reasonable price. Go without hesitation...
