We'd been before, but this time it was a bit disappointing. First, the website says we can pay with holiday vouchers, but that's no longer the case; they really need to update it… Then, we ordered desserts that never arrived… 😢 Otherwise, the servers were very friendly…

I visited on Saturday evening, July 12th, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the food. It's a lovely little restaurant with a spacious terrace; you're not crammed in with other diners, which is fantastic! I'm not from Valence, I'm from Lyon, but I'll definitely be back! The food is excellent; they make delicious dishes, and they're beautifully presented. The service was impeccable; the servers are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it if you want a good meal; the portions are quite generous. (A little photo of the desserts 😋)

25/06/2026: It costs an arm and a leg, but the food is amazing 🔥 The chef is in the dining room to present his dishes; it's very interesting and really adds something special to the experience. I recommend the "infusions" offered by the chef.

Restaurant L'Epicerie

01/04/2026: Restaurant located in a former grocery store. Very welcoming, set menu with reasonable prices and local products. Sparkling aperitif 🥂 with a very smooth chestnut liqueur – a delight. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.
29/03/2026: We ate here on Valentine's Day for a champagne dinner. The dishes were superb. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, all accompanied by free-flowing champagne. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is fantastic, in a historic building in the center of Valence.
