Excellent à tous les niveaux !! Une explosion de saveurs, des équilibres parfaits et de très belles assiettes. Nous avons été très bien servis par Enzo qui fait la différence dans l’expérience ! Très belle découverte

Absolutely a must when in Aix. Have the incredible lamb shoulder, so sublime and perhaps as good as it can get. Great gravlax starter and plenty of terrific wines. The hot chocolate dessert is large and rich. An experience not just a meal.

Exceptional setting, attentive and smiling staff, and most importantly... We eat our fill! The dishes are traditional, with a little touch of innovation. The quality is there, the quantity too ;)

This place had been recommend to us by both hotels we had been staying at in the region so we figured we'd give it a try. The decor is beautiful and really makes one feel like you're on holidays. The food was rather underwhelming however. Some of the seafood in our seafood platter tasted like it had been frozen a little too long. The starters we had ordered were indeed a bit experimental but not yet polished.

“La petite ferme” under this name, we imagine a rather traditional and authentic cuisine. Instead, it is a claim between the high end, with a lot of “decoration”… The rustic bread was very good, but unfortunately some slices were already dry. The veal chop was very good quality, juicy and well roasted, the tarama starter with truffle oil looked like a thick béchamel sauce, not delicious at all.

Had a lovely dinner tonight. Ordered the tuna tataki and the side salad, which was absolutely delicious. We also had the red snapper. I would prefer it be de-boned. French fries and mushrooms, which was also very good. Very cute restaurant. Very good service. I would definitely eat here again.

11/12/2024: Great food, staff and atmosphere.
10/12/2024: On a weekend in Aix, we decide to look for a pizzeria in the old town for lunch. At Jo's it's crowded but the owner suggests that we come back in a moment, which we do and our table is waiting for us. The room is small and it is not easy to sit and move around as the tables are so crowded. Before talking about the cuisine I would like to compliment the owners and the waiters: friendliness, smile, responsiveness, availability... Concerning the cuisine I will be less tender but I must point out that we live less than 45 minutes from the Ligurian coast and are used to eating Italian among Italians....at Jo's, no pizza with a blown edge like at Naples or very large pizzas with crunchy dough like in Rome. Pizza the diameter of the plate, any dough neither soft nor crispy, no mozzarella but a cheese with an aggressive taste like Comté or industrial made especially for pizza makers. As for the price, staggering! In Ventimiglia, the equivalent of what I ate (cheese pizza commonly called Marguerite or Neapolitan) is charged 7.50 or 8.00 euros. I paid 17.00 euros!!!! Given the good reception at Jo, this establishment deserves to stand out from the competition on site. Exit the bad industrial cheese and a short day of training for the pizza maker to make and cook a delicious, soft and at the same time crispy dough like our transalpine friends...

30/09/2024: We thought it would be a more upscale dining experience, it wasn’t. So comparing our expectations to the reality, this is our rating.
25/09/2024: This upscale restaurant is housed in a hotel that is not easy to access. However, it must be recognized that once you arrive in the hall, the welcome is impeccable. The decor in golden tones is classy but lacking in certain details for this level of standing and price. The food is good and cooked just right, I was expecting more originality in the flavors. But I remain very positive about this restaurant.
