While not particularly pretentious, and in fact almost presenting itself as a restaurant for all hours and occasions, it offers a carefully curated selection of traditional dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good value for money.

I really liked the place. The food was delicious. The best part was the starter and the dessert… the whipped cream was divine. The main course was decent but nothing special (lamb). The service was pleasant and the welcome was very warm, right up until it came time to pay, with all the staff present! I'll definitely go back! However, the house wine was really bad… unfortunately, they only offered one type, and I barely managed to get a glass.

A real treat, delicious dishes.

We had our end-of-year meal in the small upstairs room, which had been reserved just for us. It was a little warm, but we were able to open the window. We were very comfortable, not disturbed by noise from the other tables. We ate very well, and the service was impeccable. It wasn't yet the height of summer.

We had a lovely time at La Belle Idée restaurant. The dishes were delicious and generous. The menu is varied and extensive. The prices are justified by the impeccable service, the portion sizes, and especially the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

I'm a regular customer at this restaurant, where I eat whenever I'm in Grenoble for business. I've noticed that the portion sizes have decreased significantly, and my last experience was particularly disappointing. While the food was generally good, I had to pay an extra €5 on the set menu for a ridiculously small salad. I ordered the beef chuck as a main course and asked for a salad since the dish didn't include any vegetables. I was served a tiny bowl with four lettuce leaves. If you're going to charge €5 for a salad supplement, then you should serve a decent salad in a reasonable quantity and with at least some effort put into its presentation. I'm really disappointed because, even though I like this restaurant, I don't like feeling ripped off. And to top it off, the Dauphinoise potatoes were also tiny... I've passed this feedback on to the person at the front of house, and I hope it will be taken into account.

A wonderful discovery in Grenoble. The setting is truly delightful, the establishment is immaculate and perfectly maintained. It's a place where you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The owner is incredibly kind and particularly attentive to his customers' well-being. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into his restaurant and that he truly cares about ensuring everyone has a fantastic time. A huge thank you also to Nour, our waitress, who was absolutely wonderful. Smiling, funny, attentive, professional, and always ready to listen, she greatly contributed to the quality of our experience. A real gem! During our visit, there was a minor hiccup with one dish that wasn't quite to our liking. This can happen in any establishment. What makes the difference is the response, and on this point, the owner was exemplary. He listened attentively to our feedback, genuinely concerned about our satisfaction, and eager to find solutions. He demonstrated a level of professionalism and kindness that is increasingly rare. We particularly appreciated the warm welcome, the attention given to customers, the impeccable cleanliness of the premises, and the friendliness of the entire team. This establishment is run by passionate people who deserve to be supported. A big thank you to the owner and to Nour for their hospitality and good humor. We wish them continued success.
