Nice setting... we were very well received and served. The only downside was the back room, which was a bit dark and poorly ventilated. The menu... nothing extraordinary, but still good.

Le Rousseau has become one of my favorite restaurants in Grenoble. People come for the menu—the freshness and the flavors—and they return for the incredible wine selection and the friendliness and warmth of the welcome. I celebrated our wedding anniversary there, and the owner organized a wonderful aperitif for us on the shaded terrace, while we enjoyed the music of two musicians. What a lovely place.

A lovely discovery with friends at lunchtime. Delicious meal (we had a starter and main course) for €25. Excellent value for money. We sat on the terrace (very pleasant despite the heat). I also really enjoyed the boneless sea bass. In short, worth discovering! Perhaps a smile from the owner would have been a nice bonus, as it was missing when the bill arrived! Maybe it just wasn't his day? 😉

A fantastic discovery for us. Refined and incredibly flavorful cuisine. A cozy and elegant atmosphere without being stuffy. Incredible wines. We loved it!

16/07/2026: We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a great surprise. The location is great, it feels cozy. The staff is amazing and everyone speaks English very well, so it's definitely a pro for tourists. The food was tasty. We both tried the Gratin de ravioles au St Marcellin and they were amazing. To end our dinner we ordered a single scoop of ice cream to share. Definitely recommend both. Just a tiny piece of advice: the portions are quite generous so if you're not used to eat a lot, I suggest to pace yourself!
15/07/2026: As regular customers, we are never disappointed; the dishes are generous and affordable for the quality, the service is top-notch every time, and a rustic atmosphere is guaranteed. This restaurant is a victim of its own success!

30/07/2026: We had a wonderful time with our son. Comfortably seated upstairs, the atmosphere was cozy and calm, but not ostentatious. Excellent, quick service. The portions were generous, delicious, and perfectly creamy… and don't even get me started on the homemade desserts! I absolutely melted over the raspberry and pistachio tart and couldn't resist the chocolate dessert of the day… I don't regret a single kilo that appeared on the scale this morning!! Go for it, this place is amazing!
