We were disappointed with the Welsh rarebit. It was lumpy and watery. The mustard seemed to have been mixed into the batter rather than sprinkled on top of the bread.

I ate there today with my partner, around 1 p.m. The waitress was lovely and gave us great advice on our choices of main courses and appetizers, in addition to welcoming us with a very cheerful attitude. The dishes were very good and served in generous portions. I recommend it!

We went to this restaurant two days in a row during our stay in Lille..Everything was wonderful..the food was delicious and the portions were generous and large. The prices were very good. The place was clean and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The waiter was very helpful, polite and willing to help us choose with a smile and enthusiasm..We highly recommend it!

Having set off for Lille to explore a city I didn't know, I stumbled upon a small, entirely homemade restaurant run by a father and son who were incredibly welcoming and attentive to their customers. The food was excellent and very generous. A big thank you for this Lille discovery! Especially for their little Flemish croquettes.

Category: Traditional Restaurant / Bistro While staying in Lille and wanting to discover the region's specialties, we booked a table at La Petite Table, a traditional bistro. We naturally tried the Welsh rarebit, a Flemish carbonnade, and a chicken supreme with Maroilles cheese sauce as a side dish. It was truly original (very generous portions, but the dishes are meant to be reheated :)). Go on an empty stomach, otherwise, it's at your own risk! In any case, if you want to try the main regional dishes, don't hesitate, they have them all. Reservations are essential (especially on weekends)! ​​Otherwise, expect to queue and wait for a table.

19/05/2026: We usually come for dinner when we are passing through Lille. We really like the regional platter as well as the gourmet dessert platter.
19/05/2026: Excellent place that was recommended to me to discover the specialties of the North! Impeccable service, and good and generous cuisine (!).
