A wonderful discovery! The service is incredibly friendly, with a lovely waitress. The food is just like home cooking. They regularly check in to make sure everything is alright (whether it's the waitress, the cook, or the owners...), it's delicious, the value for money is excellent, and our son even got a candle for his birthday! A place without any fuss that feels truly authentic. We loved it! Remember to book!

Traditional cuisine. Generous portions. Super friendly waitress. Very good value for money. On the road to Lac des Settons (about 7 or 8 km away). A good selection and very reasonable prices. I recommend it.

A restaurant like more and more are disappearing: a lovely menu, ideal value for money, and a cozy atmosphere. Everything served with a friendly word and a touch of humor. This is highly recommended! The starter buffet has something for everyone; the onglet was perfectly cooked, and the île flottante and crème brûlée were delicious. A place to remember.

A little restaurant like the ones we need thousands more of! Excellent value for money. Varied all-you-can-eat buffet. The homemade dishes are a delight and particularly generous. The welcome is friendly and the atmosphere convivial. Well done to the chef, don't change a thing! Be sure to book, and a good walk after your meal is highly recommended! Auberge de la Queue du Lac

21/07/2026: The food was excellent, the staff were welcoming, everything was perfect.
20/07/2026: We received a warm welcome in a typical setting. There was relatively little wait despite the restaurant being quite busy. We were satisfied with the food but not with the price, which was about 30 percent higher. This was especially true of the "crapiaud à l'epoisse" (19.5€), which was a "thick" crepe with three portions of Epoisse cheese, a lettuce leaf, and a third of a tomato. It should have come with a proper, large salad or been priced closer to €12 to be in line with our other reference prices. Dishes served with unlimited potato gratin were, in fact, better value for money. If we disregard the high prices, we were very happy with our evening. Thank you!
