This is the second time we've passed through this charming square and stopped for our Friday evening aperitif. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service… the deviled eggs were elevated by a special touch from the chef… The conversation flowed easily and we felt right at home.

What a Night!! We spent a Saturday night at “La Place” and it topped all our expectations!! The Ambiente, the Mussels, the Wine and Tequila..I think I said it all..don’t miss it!! The people that run it are good ones!!

Our burratta appetizer was truly delicious. The main course—one person had a burger and another a cauliflower steak—was also highly recommended. Beautiful flavors. It was a shame we were the only ones there. That does create a strange atmosphere, but in a beautiful space and with excellent service, it was certainly enjoyable. We're picky eaters, so we were surprised it wasn't busier.

A real gem! A very good restaurant for lunch or dinner in a warm and friendly setting! The service is impeccable, orders are taken quickly. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. The dishes arrive quickly, simple but very well prepared. Well presented, with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and to top it all off, everything is homemade! The atmosphere is friendly, not too noisy, and the terrace is pleasant in the evening. The prices are reasonable for the price. We had a great time and will happily come back!

The restaurant has just been under construction for a month and a half. New team, new menu, and a superb selection of generous and flavorful Mediterranean dishes. Impeccable service, passionate team—it was perfect.

11/02/2026: A nice little spot in Montpellier, with a friendly, family atmosphere. You can even book the room for a birthday or other event. I highly recommend it, but what I love most is the pool table and the merguez sausage and fries for a relaxing drink in the evening. 👍🥂🎉
07/01/2026: A pleasant surprise after the change of ownership. The food is tasty and more refined, while still retaining a "brasserie" style. The service is impeccable. The place has remained unchanged and is still lovely, both inside and out.

20/11/2025: You'd be hard-pressed to find someone more adorable than Alexandre! The biggest smile in Montpellier. Delicious and attentive service. A real treat for the taste buds. Okay... Admittedly, the restrooms aren't great, but that's because Mr. Delafosse still hasn't installed composting toilets. See you very soon! 🐝🚀
