La Placette sur La Ciotat

A very nice spot behind the church. Excellent food, the waiter is very friendly and funny.

We arrived with three children and six adults and received a warm welcome, excellent service, and perfect dishes (mussels and meat). The chef and waiters were very friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

Delicious food with a wide variety of choices. A real treat for all tastes. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the welcome is warm. I would definitely go back. Enzo was our server and he was fantastic. The customer service is excellent and we felt very comfortable. In addition, the portions are generous. I appreciate that they offer two sizes of appetizers.

A brasserie with a promising menu, although the menu is very short. This is usually a good sign, but it's a disappointment. The panisses for starters are manufactured products, as is the accompanying mayonnaise. They were good, however. The mussels Provençal style are served in generous portions, but the sauce was far too salty, as has already been mentioned in another review. The fries, although homemade, were lukewarm and soggy, not very appetizing... And the wait was relatively long, which is all the more incomprehensible! Friendly staff, however. But the food is really quite average.

I don't think the negative reviews are justified. We almost didn't come, but we're so glad we decided to have lunch here. Compared to the restaurants on the port that have excellent reviews but are overpriced for what they offer, the food is very good and not at all excessive. The owner is incredibly friendly, and most importantly, the food is delicious. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to La Ciotat.

Very good restaurant in a very pleasant little square. The products are fresh and cooked. The mussels are excellent, the soups too, and the French toast is just perfect! Thanks to the Placette team
