We had a pleasant time at Mathieu's restaurant...very good food..a very pleasant place.Sabine is very kind and listens to the customer. very friendly and welcoming, we feel at home. We ate there in June 2023 on the terrace facing the sea very close to the beach, to say with our feet in the sand, back in Aléria we went to eat at Mathieu's today today this time in the dining room with a nice wood fire where you could see the cook putting the sausages, the beautiful pieces of beef etc. if you pass by don't miss this cocooning place to eat well

A great surprise ! What a welcome ! Smile, kindness and conviviality. The food is very good and plentiful. Mussels au gratin as a great starter, the divine Filet Rossini, filet of lou au gratin with delicious parmesan. Dessert, delicious tonka bean mousse, and a banafee, which I recommend. The decor is pleasant! I recommend this place.

First of all, a magnificent setting by the sea. We received a warm welcome in a no less warm setting. A brazier warms the setting a little more, on which we can see the meat cooking. The dressage is magnificent, little background music, sea view, what more could you ask for? A big congratulations to Sabrina and Doumé, as well as their team who make the effort to be open all year round. A big thank you for your welcome, your kindness and your know-how!

04/04/2024: We enjoyed the food and the service. Our server was attentive even if there was a slight problem with ordering the starter to share. The sea bass fillet with citrus sauce, very good. Cooked just right. The chestnut fondant, as it should be. Good mark. Still, overall, the owner seems more friendly with the regulars, too bad... It's up to you to judge.

02/04/2024: Remarkable and very pleasant dinner in this beautiful restaurant. A cozy and warm atmosphere, an extremely kind and considerate welcome, and cuisine that is inventive, surprising, fine, and very pleasant! A very happy encounter and one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Corsica! Well done and thank you to the whole team!
12/03/2024: Excellent and surprising address next to a roundabout. We would like to see it more often. Banish banal cooking, burgers, tasteless salads and everything we make at home. Here, inventive, refined cuisine at an affordable price. From appetizers to sweets and coffee, everything is delicious, fresh and surprising! The service is adorable and classy without overdoing it. The antique furniture and crockery, the music, the terrace, everything is nice without being stuffy. A big congratulations! If there were places like that near me, I would probably go to the restaurant more often.
