A wonderful experience at lunchtime at La Plaisance. The food was excellent (the gourmet coffee too!) and the service from all the servers was equally impressive. On weekends, I think it's best to make a reservation. I highly recommend it!

The staff were very pleasant despite our late arrival at 9:45 pm. The food was very fresh and delicious. We will definitely return to this place on our next visit to Fécamp.

Arrived 20 minutes before closing time. They were kind enough to offer a plate. They said we cannot order course meal but can get a single meal from the menu. Food was tasty, service and location is just amazing. You have great views overlooking harbour from the window. Overall its a great place.

Having spent several days in Normandy and being a seafood lover, I can appreciate the excellent quality. The wines were very well balanced and seasoned, and the Plastiga was well-seasoned. Finally, the Normandy tart was delicious and savory, served with sour cream—a perfect combination. The service was friendly, and the owner was very discreet and unobtrusive. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend it.

Despite obvious culinary skill – particularly in sauces and desserts – there were a few unfortunate shortcomings: the service was haphazard, lacking knowledge of the wine list and some clumsiness, and the side dishes served with the main course seemed inadequate for the €50 set menu. A minor point regarding the pastry: brush up on your classic recipes, chefs! A true Norman tart is nothing like what I got on my plate—a simple apple crumble tart with an apple compote base. The filling of a Norman tart is far more elaborate and much thicker, among other things. The pastry isn't puff pastry, but shortcrust or shortbread. The menu clearly states "Norman tart." Connoisseurs will appreciate this.

Absolutely delicious food. Only our waiter seemed to have a general problem with languages. We needed Time translating the menu as We didn’t understood all of it and there’s No English available. But he just stood there for a while just waiting, seeing how We struggled. I don’t say I’m fluent in French, but he finally offered to switch to English and then to German. Nothing really helped. In the end the food made up for everyhing. We both took the cheaper menues and We were delighted! The price was reasonable. Drinks are -in my opinion- extremely expensive, but it’s how it is.

Chez Nounoute

05/07/2026: We had a lovely time at Nounoute. If you're coming for seafood, you'll be delighted: the products are high-quality and you can tell they're carefully selected. The mussels à la cauchoise were particularly delicious, with an original and very flavorful recipe. The desserts were excellent too. Next to us, a table had ordered the seafood sauerkraut, which also looked excellent and very generous. However, one of us chose a turkey escalope. This was definitely the dish that impressed us the least: the quality of the meat didn't seem to live up to the rest of the menu, especially considering the price, which we found high. Regarding the prices, we also overheard a neighboring table remark that the mussels were quite expensive. It's true that the prices are geared towards a "holiday" feel, but when you're enjoying good seafood, it's understandable. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner regularly checks in on customers, and her strong personality adds to the charm and authenticity of the place. A good spot for seafood lovers, though a few dishes could be more in line with the rest of the menu.
23/06/2026: A pleasant time spent with a manager who fully contributes to the atmosphere of the place. Fresh fish, fresh mussels, a very good experience. Remember to book.
