La Poêlée Toquée sur Moelan-Sur-Mer

This establishment was recommended by hotel staff. The main issue is that when you try too hard to be too many things at the same time. The cuisine is fait maison and while I did not see any French official seal contribution to the statement we gave it a try. The menu is fairly long however likely due to the fact we had dinner on a Sunday. Young man upfront asked if we had reservations as if we were entering the graal. Tables are set with colored cups (local thing maybe) the placemat is made of paper like a brasserie and the napkin made of paper. The food overall was neither great however not bad for an hungry travelling couple. The staff and the kitchen did not appear in synch since the dessert ordered upfront was no longer available by the time dessert came. The staff is young and friendly however, we could smell smoke on them which was not pleasant. The music was American , we are American so I asked why the choice . This the track our chef uses and likes. I guess someone forgot that we all had to listen to it. Overall it is a fair food place great for a very casual dinner.

Very nice surprise! The waiter gives very good advice when it comes to cooking (their beef carpaccio is to die for!), and he is really nice! The prices are not excessive compared to the quality on the plates, really not disappointed! I strongly recommend it

We ate here on vacation and our expectations were exceeded. Very good food, very nice service. It's lovely to sit outside in the garden, but everyone has to judge the interior design for themselves, as tastes vary greatly. We would recommend it immediately!

Good welcome. Disappointed with the burger (steak cooking not respected, overcooked bread and lack of flavors). The wine was too young and did not justify its price. A little disappointed though.

In the middle of August, varied menu, fresh products and friendly service... very good, pretty terrace, reasonable price, very good address The main room deserves a little attention but your plate received it as it should!
