La Poivriére sur Calvi

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was excellent, and the service was very good even after 1 p.m. We enjoyed every bite of the meal, from appetizer to dessert. Both adults and children loved it. The food is homemade, and it shows. We will definitely return.

If you want to eat somewhere in Calvi in ​​February, you'll have to look around. Most restaurants are closed, but not at La Poivrière. We seemed to be the only guests until a large group arrived and a DJ started blasting music. A strange experience, but not entirely unpleasant. The food was good, well-prepared, and the host, who didn't speak English, did his best. All in all, not a great experience, but I think that was due to the circumstances.

A place I stumbled upon and what a pleasant surprise! A truly warm and welcoming atmosphere and very friendly service. The meat was excellent quality; the ribeye steak was delicious. Thank you for a lovely time!
